Hindhead Chisipite, potholes and rocks lining the verges.

Reported in the Roads category by Patricia Broderick at 06:25, Wednesday 16 October 2019

Can rocks lining our road verges be removed? Hindhead Avenue has many. A child on a bike broke his arm when he swerved from a car which was swerving from a pothole. The child hit a large rock which was lining the verge. At the Lewisam shops large rocks are lining the pavement. We saw an accident there. We think these were put there to prevent combis from stopping there. Could we not have designated stopping places for public transport vehicles?

Updates

  • I reported on rocks lining the roads. In Hindhead Rd, Chisipite there are many rocks lining the road. A child broke his arm hitting one of these, avoiding a car which was avoiding a pothole. Hindhead has many potholes. I believe that there have been worse accidents in other parts of town. Verges are there, I understand, so that vehicles can avoid accidents.
