Water has washed the road away

Reported in the Water category by Colleen Hardy at 06:27, Monday 2 September 2019

Sent to Harare, SMART Harare, Ward 11, and Zone 1 3 minutes later

There is water sitting in a long pothole, which is most of the way across the road. It is completely across the lane going towards the banks and there is a little road left in the lane going towards Lobengula Road. Please could this be sorted out ASAP, as cars are swerving around it and there will be a head on collision soon.

Updates

  • Please could this section of road be sorted out "Properly". There was a water leak, which washed the whole section of road away and the water leak was sorted out and "Soil" was put in the hole to fill it in and now the water is running again and the road is sinking further by Hunyani Papers, which has caused quite a dip in the road. This road is used a lot by small and big vehicles so we need it to be fixed "Properly" is a lot of swerving to opposite sides of the road to get around this, which will cause a very serious accident soon.

  • This is near Hyunyani Pulp and Paper. There is water in this hole 'AGAIN' which means that the water leak was not sorted out. The whole section of road is getting impassable. This needs to be sorted out "URGENTLY". Sort out the water leak and fill with tar. There are large and small vehicles up and down this section of road 6 days a week.
