Reported in the Roads category by Colleen Hardy at 06:33, Fri 5 April 2019

Sent to Harare, SMART Harare, Ward 13, and Zone 1 2 minutes later

There are potholes that were filled with soil just after the Zebra Crossing just before you get to Manchester Road, going towards Harare Hospital Entrance. Please could these three potholes be filled and tarred, as that is the only solution, as filling them with soil will only make the holes bigger and the soil will be worn away quickly, due to the large number of traffic on this road. It is at a dangerous section, as you have vehicles turning right into Manchester Road and the road on the left has quite a large gap between the soil and the road, due to the Commuters using the soil section as a race track to avoid the traffic and then forcing their way back into the traffic and sometime the pedestrians waiting to cross at the Zebra, nearly get knocked down. Very dangerous road.

  • Please could these potholes by the Zebra Crossing on both sides of the road need to be sorted out URGENTLY, as it is damaging our tyres. With the heavy load of big and small vehicles on this road, the soil used for filling these potholes are not working as it is only for a temporary measure. If these potholes are filled with soil, then within 2 weeks these holes have resurfaced due to the large amount of traffic. Please these need sorting out.
