Road Repaired

Reported in the Roads category by Colleen Hardy at 11:08, Friday 22 February 2019

Sent to Harare, SMART Harare, Ward 13, and Zone 1 2 minutes later

There was a road repair that was done last year and the road was dug up 1/2 way across the road we have commuters and small cars going around this into oncoming traffic and there will be a head on collision very soon. Please could this be attended to as it is quite URGENT now. This needs levelling off, so that small cars can go over it. It is in the left lane as you are coming to the robots by Southerton Post Office.

Updates

  • Please could this section of road have a top up of soil and then covered with tar as it is dangerous with drivers swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid this long sandy rough patch of road, so that they do not do more damage to their cars. This is URGENT. Please sort out.

  • This section of road is extremely dangerous now, and we are still getting cars going into oncoming traffic on the opposite side, (which is down to 1 lane of good road), as they are trying to avoid the very rough soil and stone section of road. This is URGENT. This needs filling in and tarring URGENTLY. This is damaging cars further than they are already.
