Water leak on 4 Woodhall Road

Sent to Harare, SMART Harare, Ward 41, and Zone 6 4 minutes later
Water has been leaking from Municipal supply outside 4 Woodhall Road for over a week. I reported this to the Municipal Offices in Mabelreign last Monday but so far nothing has been done. There appears to be another at the juncture of Woodhall Road and Marlborough Drive just before the bridge.
The Municipality started working on the leak on the 18th December 2018 and were busy all day and the next. We were then told they could do no more until Zesa came to put the main current off as they had to work so close to the Zesa cable that it was dangerous. Fair enough. Then the Water Department team sat around waiting the whole of the next day but Zesa didn’t appear. As far as I am aware there has been no further progress. There is a huge pile of soil on the pavement with the usual debris and water has been leaking ever since onto the road. This has broken up the tar that existed then and caused a huge morass making the road almost impassable. Also what a waste of water!
